Q: Does Jakob Villas own all these holiday homes?
A:No, we are agents for private individuals that have chosen to advertise their holiday homes with us. Your booking agreement will be between the home owner and yourself, with Jakobs Villas as agent.
Q: How can I pay?
A: For your own safety, we always strongly advise that you pay with a credit card. We have been a PayPal verified business for more than 5 years and advertised with several international holiday home portals, so while you can rest assured that we are who we say we are – it is sometimes possible that your credit card includes an insurance against unforseen things that would prevent you in going ahead with your vacation plans. Apart from credit cards, we accept PayPal payments and bank transfers / wire transfers to our Spanish bank.
Q: How much will I have to pay to book a holiday home?
A: You pay around 250 euros or 25% at the time of booking the holiday home. The remaining amount is paid 6 weeks before arrival.
Q: Does the prices listed here include all?
A: Yes, the prices listed here includes water, electricity (some holiday homes are equipped with coin operated a/c units) and all other utilities. It also includes the end-of-stay cleaning and laundry. The holiday home is fully equipped with linen and towels for your use.
Q: Why do I have to pay a security bond?
A: Our owners require that we hold a security bond for all guests. This security bond will normally be returned 2 weeks after your departure by a bank transfer to your account in your home country. The security bond is used to cover damages and extras that might occur (extra cleaning, laundry, etc). It is however not a “max amount” – meaning that we reserve the right to invoice you in addition, should there be larger damages to the holiday home.
Q: What about insurance?
A: It is always a good idea to take out an extra holiday insurance. As you are renting directly from a private owner, it will be varied what kind of coverage you will receive if any. Jakobs Villas is in no-way insuring your vacation or your property while staying in one of the villas listed here.
